The Village at Chester Upland is a Pre-K - 8 School. The general curriculum
is supported by the following textbooks: Harcourt: Story Town Reading, Everyday Mathematics, and Scott Foresman Science, Social Studies, and Music. In addition, students receive extra help using Reading Recovery (grade 1) and computer assisted programs such as Achieve 3000 (reading), First in Math and Apangea (math). Extracurricular programs include: “Sing to Learn” (K-2), General Music (Pre-K-8), Instrumental Music/Band program (4-8), football, basketball, volley ball, cheerleading, soccer, baseball, softball, track (middle years), Freedom School, and afterschool club activities.
